Hopefully it doesn't take too much coding effort. Although I also first thought that this would be helpful I am no longer sure whether it is of any help at all. But nevertheless, *if* it will be implemented then here are my suggestions:

No. I would think of a simple text file that accumulates date and time stamped *all* errors. It should be presented in the standard text editor if errors occured. The user can then delete error message or not.

Yes, I think so. Simply always use a standard file in the Ztree directory. I don't know whether it should move to another place for portability.

I am not sure. Maybe a YACO?

No. I think starting it with a standard editor would be sufficient.

Yes. I think it should be presented in the standard text editor if an error occured.

Another idea would be to write the file in ZLOG syntax with an "L=" before each file name. But then we would get problems to time stamp these entries and add the error message. Maybe these things can be added as a comment?
