Does the same happen if you Ctrl-COPY? (which you suggested previously it did).

Ok, so now have I - with Ctrl-MOVE only.

I cannot oonfirm this (using Ctrl-MOVE) - are you quite sure???

I think you are mistaken about Ctrl-Copy. I also think your test case with Explorer is a red-herring. That is why your report made no sense.
