You're forgetting that Windows Explorer's interface is part of the Windows Shell, and as such, is integrated into a lot of programs.

Some programs allow you to copy files to the clipboard, but not their paths. Conversely, some programs only give you the choice between pasting a file, or drilling down the explorer UI to select a file (with no text edit box; e.g. Nero).
In such cases, it's often a lot easier to find the file in ZTreeWin, and do an [App-key], Copy than having to traverse an entire directory structure by mouse!

And yes, I know what *I* would like the programmers of the abovementioned software to do, but I'm usually not in a position to make them do it...
