Yes, but that's VB.Net. VB6 was the last version based on Win32/COM, which is precisely the reason I used that version.

Creating COM objects from within .Net is more hassle than doing so from Delphi for Win32.

It's possible in VB6 to use the Windows API high-performance timers as well, but it just seemed more trouble than I cared to put into it.
