Chris and I arrived home from our trip from Paris to Turkey this morning at 0500.

We had no future travel plans at that stage.

We had a sleep until 1500. When we got up there was an email from Qantas offering fares from Perth to Los Angeles for AUD1480 (USD1290). We went up to Flight Centre and booked.

That means we’re only at home until 18 August when we fly to Los Angeles for 90 days (the maximum visa free period for Australians).

We're going to head for Glacier NP. I've been to the USA and Canada 6 times before but it's always been snowed in.

We'll keep going up to Edmondton, across to Vancouver and then down the west coast.

Chris REALLY wants to see Crater Lake NP. She's been there twice before and each time it's been too cloudy to see anything.

We'll be camping most of the way.

Are there any ZTreeWin Forum readers along the way who'd like to meet up? We're not looking for free accommodation. We'd just like to say Hi to some Americans and Canadians.

I'd REALLY like to meet Michael Khan. I've been "foruming" with him for years and it would be very interesting to finally speak with him.
