Well, let's not get too far astray here. I didn't really mean users were going to 'want' this. It was simply that if this is going to be a separate command, there was no need to cause it to actually log anything. It's only purpose was to highlight that directory.

With that said, if the user is going to make it highlighted, he will probably want to then log it. But "probably" is not "certainly", as we see all sorts of MOs with F9 scripts and macros we didn't anticipate.

As mentioned, if it's not too difficult, I think this is the best implementation, and gives the user the most flexibility.
