Victor:
As of 12/20, my RSS feed has refused to update. I use IE8 on WinXP Pro SP3, fully patched. I deleted my feed cache and tried to start a new one, but http://www.ztw3.com/forum/rss.php produces an error page for me, saying "This feed contains code errors." Then it gives me the following:
An invalid character was found in text content.
Line: 236 Character: 207
C:UsersAndrew12345ZTreeZTToolsBRCBRC32 /pattern:"img_0000.JPG" /removename /appenddate:M:P:::9 /insert:[:1 /insert:" ":8 /insert:" ":15 /appenddate:M:s:::10:%%a /insert:]:19 /insert:" ":20 /nodup /executeú]]>
Now that I'm looking at it, I realize that Andrew Watson's post about ZTreeMenu path length issues ( http://www.ztw3.com/forum/forum_entry.php?id=115759 ) produces the text above that is causing IE8's RSS feeder to halt.
Can this be remedied server-side? Thanks in advance for any assistance or advice you can give.
Happy Holidays (Feliz Navidad),
