Starting with a Filtered "Branch" tagged-file list, then searching those files for a text string, and finally using Ctrl-Enter to show only the tagged file results. (Using split screen to preserve a set of the tagged files before doing the text search.)

I just repeated the exact-same task configuration as used before, and the same problem reoccurred with the files now sorted by date. (Searching file-by-file, starting with the oldest file first.)
155,622 Logged files ..> 132,882 Filtered, Tagged files ..> 2,880 Tagged-file Search results.

CO-4N > "Invert current file tag with space key" = No

For Gather, I'm using Shift-G, always from within Autoview.

I just made a sequence of seven JPG screenshots that show the problem.
I'll e-mail them to you, a ZIP file, 1.5 MB.
