Windows 10 instead of 9   [Tip]

Microsoft dev here, the internal rumours are that early testing revealed just how many third party products that had code of the form

and that this was the pragmatic solution to avoid that.



I'm afraid that sounds all too plausible... Even though it also sounds like a rumour that would be popular amongst Microsoft developers, even if untrue. :-)
