I often wish that ZTreeWin's Autoview included a "mode latch" that would temporarily hold the display-mode 'Junk filter' in the "On" position.
Currently, the Junk mode display is "just a memory", as soon as the Up or Down arrow key is pressed to view the adjacent file.
The latch would allow a relaxed and sequential "Autoviewing" (back and forth) of several adjacent files (in the ZTree file view).
This would provide a speedy, visual 'Compare' function of multiple files, during the:
A) Autoview- comparing of adjacent small files -- such as *.LNK shortcut files -- (my most common application) -- and:
B) Autoview- comparing of longer sections (longer than currently possible) in the file headers of adjacent larger files.
For example, a key command such as 'Shift-Z', or Shift-F7 (used only in Autoview mode) could latch the 'Junk filter' mode "On", while scrolling up or down the file list, until the Escape key is eventually pressed, which would unlatch the mode latch. ......
