Tablet market is still in emergence.
Things changes fast, yet not perfect.


One USB port is not a problem with a small 1$ hub with no power, as long as you us it to connect mouse, keyboard, headphones or such items. Portable hard disk might be an issue for some models, but usually no. USB 3.0 is a definitive plus.

Charging a device from a tablet while you use it is attractive for "compactness". Yet, you can probably find at your local discount store a cheap AC+USB wall adapter that is both small enough to carry and efficient.

(This one is large but a see much smaller at a local store nearby.
