[Tip] PowerArchiver v4.01 for tar.gz: creation needs -k   [Tip]

Finally!
I followed Oliver Pretzel's hint at http://www.ztw3.com/forum/forum_entry.php?id=114122 (I mean the upper part, not the problem description), and downloaded PowerArchiver Command Line 4.01.

I adjusted the Archiver.bb2 entry PowerArchiver Command Line 4.01 [LFN,EXT]
to meet the PAEXT output on my German Win7 machine:

Name            Length   Method   Ratio      Size      Date & Time      CRC-32
------------  --------  --------  -----  --------  ------------------- --------
doc\project.txt
                 21367    Tarred    0%      21367  11.30.2001 19:20:11 00001687
plugin\project.vim
                 50465    Tarred    0%      50465  11.27.2001 23:57:27 000017ae
------------  --------  --------  -----  --------  ------------------- --------
*Totals    2     21367             16%      17848  11.30.2001 19:20:50

Now I can view and extract tar.gz files in one step.
Thanks Oliver!

However there's a date problem:
for compressing files, ARCHIVER.BB_ suggests the syntax PACOMP.EXE -a -c2 -w @list for the Add/create command.

I had to add the option -k 'keep orginal archive file date' to the 'create' lines 8,9 to keep the source files' dates.
Without the -k option, each file was archived with the current system time as modify date/time, which is bad.

[Q]
Is that -k option the right switch to keep the source files' dates?

Hartmut
