[Zeta] Tagging   [Zeta]

In file mode, the direct contents of a directory are its files and tagging a logged in directory tags all of the files of that directory.

In directory mode, the direct contents of a directory are its sub-directories. So by analogy, should tagging a parent directory tag all of its sub-directories? If so, how many sub-levels? Since file mode tagging only tags the top level that would argue against tagging sub-levels.

For both file mode and directory mode, in the DW there is no displayed indication that a directory is tagged, or even contains tagged content. The tag status of the visible files or sub-directories in the small window is displayed but not for the parent directory itself. Would it not be desirable to display a red diamond to the left of a fully tagged directory and a different color/shaped symbol for a partially tagged one?

Food for thought or not worth the effort?
