In Response to: found peace in multicolour on white (Hartmut Schneider)

The 2nd screenshot should show this:

A) I use Bright Yellow as background for files dated TODAY.
This is done by the ZColors.ini line "=today: def on Bri Yellow".
To make Bright Yellow less outstanding, I patched it brighter (255,255,211).

B) I use Bright Cyan as background for Showall/Branch mode.
This is done by the ZColors.ini line "GLOBAL: Black On Bright Cyan".
To make Bright Cyan less outstanding, I patched it brighter (211,255,255).

C) I have set the Highlight bar to (dark) White, which looks good IMHO in
- normal/B/S/G windows,
- Internal Viewer with Line=On, and
- History, F2 Browse and F9 Menu windows.
This is done in the Alt-F10/ F4 Colors screen: type [B]ar then adjust background using F6/Shift-F6.
To make (dark) White less outstanding, I patched it brighter (192,192,192).

Nice to hear that Steve and Bill do patch the console colours as well.
