Again, both those articles seemed to concentrate only on getting coloured title bars, and didn't actually mention the difference between active and inactive.

I just tried the built in "high contrast" themes, and they show clear differences between active and inactive title bars, but the other changes are too drastic for me. So it appears it's currently possible, they just need to set up a theme.

I clicked on the link to "Get more themes online", and soon gave up. It appears most people are obsessed with pretty backgrounds, not tweaking of the standard theme.

I'll see how this update goes in November, and in the meantime I'll see if I can get used to the default theme. It might be a case of just getting used to something new, although I doubt it'll ever be as easy to spot the active window with this one as it was in XP.
