JPEGView really shines when it comes to navigation (current dir, all subdirs,
dirs on the same lever as the current one), sorting, quick-fixing.

But what if you need a feature that is not there, but IrfanView has it? You just hit
a single key and your file is opened in IrfanView or some other app.

For example, when I have to edit an image in a major way (once in a few months), I
use some ancient PaintShop Pro version (or Gimp, or MS Paint). I have this defined
and bound to the "e" key as:

UserCmd3="KeyCode: E Cmd: '%exedrive%\1\Graphics\PSP\PSP.exe %filename%' HelpText: 'E Edit current file in Paint Shop Pro'"

The HelpText also conveniently appears in the F1 help screen and your custom command
becomes part of the tool!

Using this approach, you still have instant access to your heavy-weights, but your
navigation stays smooth and clean.

By the way, I talked the developer into creating the variables

%exepath% : Path to EXE folder where JPEGView is running
%exedrive% : Drive letter of the EXE path, e.g. "c:"

that we all know so well from ZTree as %ZTDrive% and %ZTHome%, so that JPEGView can
be easily integrated into your toolbox. I have a few more requests that I'm fighting
for :-)
