Because you have reached the 'end' of the list, and the next PgUp is going to take you again the first hit.
To understand this, start the | 0*.* spell search with the highlight on M:\04.
M:\05 is the first hit, pressing PgDn will loop around and 'beep' on M:\04, because it is the 'end' of the 'list', based on where you started, and the next PgDn takes you again to the 'start'.
