I think you meant Win+X :-)

I'm using Win+Pause,TAB,Enter - no mouse or other typing - to reach Control Panel
Home.

Win+Pause has been spared constant modifications over the years, and this is the
first thing I hit when faced with a new machine, or have a problem.

For example, you instantly reach the Device Manager (to check for driver errors) and
Advanced System Settings (environment variables, power settings, recovery, etc.)

I highly recommend acquiring the Win+Pause habit!
