If it runs previous version of W10 it SHOULD run new version.

It's a 4.2GB download so if you're on a metered connection it could be expensive. I have it on DVD/USB drive so I am installing it for several friends who use mobile data to connect.

Yes. Once you have W10CU you can designate Ethernet connections as metered connections and you shouldn't get updates though I believe MS will still force critical patches such as the one today for the Word corrupt docx malware.

I believe everyone should accept all updates to maintain herd immunity.
