True dat! Seems I was always brushed off as an "old fogey", or usually worse.

I had no such luck with any of my assistants, one a talented programmer. (sigh)

Except for one guy I asked to try the trialware version of Xfile from Coastal Software, the GUI Xtree clone. Though the company is now defunct, he's still using it! Must be because of "the rat" interface, since he hates the keyboard. (The opposite of a lamented forum member.) He even found a fully functional copy somewhere that he uses now.

I still use my ex-employer's license, since I couldn't get anyone there to take it seriously. It helped me answer several questions while the calls, and job offers, came the first few years. But, I haven't had a call in the last 11 months. Guess my legacy has faded. But, thanks to Kim and ZtreeWin for helping to get me thru the last 20, or so, years!!!
