perhaps i oversimplified the problem, delims can not possibly work, what i actually meant was "line input"

from For /? >> a.txt, it says
eol=c - specifies an end of line comment character (just one)

this one could have been what i wanted... but it wasnt.
this one is illogical, the end of line char is ascii symbol (13) or (20) or char$(13 or 20) that can not be written in a text file. so i had a trouble getting it or understanding it, unless i put c at the end of all lines.

i have done that already, 1000 times literally.
and it is ok if you dont give a specific answer or example.

sometimes a little pointer might help like... "try abc" "i think it worked before but i dont remember it well"
