In Response to: rename a directory 'under the cursor' ? i think it is impossible (Ryan)

AA=
SET OLDDN=%6
SET NEWDN=%OLDDN% (%DATE1%)
CD..
REN "%OLDDN%" "%NEWDN%"
CD "%NEWDN%"

BB=
REM #ZTStart ""
SET OLDDN=%6
SET NEWDN=%OLDDN% (%DATE1%)
CD..
REN "%OLDDN%" "%NEWDN%"
CD "%NEWDN%"

AA= failed to be a DIR time stamper
BB= worked to be a DIR time stamper

I got the idea from this line from Laurent's post

REM #ZTStart "Archiving"
set /p psswd=<"c:\Users\Laurent\KSD384h34.txt"

REM #ZTStart "Archiving" was making a new console box like START.exe "", but ztree wont get caught up with "access denied"

Woohwaaaa!!
what a wonderful day!!!
