Shift-Backspace is interesting-ish   [Help!]

Curiously hitting Shift-Backspace removes the last letter in the search and does that search immediately, a bit of a pain if you didn't want it...

Type ERF and go to file starting ERF
Type Shift-Backspace and got to next file starting ER

Bit of a pain if you wanted "E" next as that may have been passed by...
