[ZEP] F2 in Move to New Directory   [ZEP]

When you move files to an existing directory there is the option to press:

F2 Force move RSH files (+RSH)

When you move files to a new directory this option is not available.

Could this option please be added?

I was always told by Michael Khan to give a real world example of why a ZEP was being requested.

When we travel we use a dashcam to record where we have been. Every night I use ZTree to move the dashcam video files off the dashcam SD card to an external drive. This takes about 40 minutes so I do it just before we go to bed.

I move the files to a new YYMMDD directory.

If we have hit a large enough bump in the road during the day the dashcam file will be locked, ie the +R attribute will be set.

The move stops at that file.

It is very frustrating to wake up and find that the move has not completed.

There are 2 workarounds:

1. Copy files and then delete in the morning

2. Start, stop and restart move and the F2 option is then available.

However, it would be much easier if the F2 option was available.
