In Response to: Where is video.bat located? (Martijn Coppoolse)

worked but i still have a minor problem with START "" and START in this batch

if MP4.BAT has
C:\ZTREE\VIDEO.BAT %1
or
CALL C:\ZTREE\VIDEO.BAT %1
worked, but i thought CALL could look for an other batch file if it was in the same dir. I was mistaken
thanks it worked. now I can manage few 100's of xxx.BAT's more easily.

but I have this problem, if VIDEO.BAT has AA= or BB=.
AA= works but BB= make ztree flicker so badly to the point that requires a PC reboot
the only difference is START "" in AA= and START in BB= (no double quotes for START )
why is it?
BB= style VIDEO.BAT works well singlely without being called from MP4.BAT

AA=
@ECHO OFF
SET C1=C:\ZTREE
SET Q1=C:\ZTREE\NIRCMDC.EXE
SET Q2=C:\ZTREE\NIRCMDC-64.EXE

SET P1=
SET P1=C:\Programs\GomPlayer\GOM.EXE
SET P2=%P1%

REM ------------------------------------------------

IF NOT "%OS%"=="Windows_NT" GOTO Win98

IF DEFINED PUBLIC GOTO Win10

START "" "%P1%" %1

GOTO END

:Win10

START "" "%P2%" %1

GOTO END

:Win98

START "%P1%" %1

GOTO END

REM ------------------------------------------------

:END

BB=
@ECHO OFF
SET C1=C:\ZTREE
SET Q1=C:\ZTREE\NIRCMDC.EXE
SET Q2=C:\ZTREE\NIRCMDC-64.EXE

SET P1=
SET P1=C:\Programs\GomPlayer\GOM.EXE
SET P2=%P1%

REM ------------------------------------------------

IF NOT "%OS%"=="Windows_NT" GOTO Win98

IF DEFINED PUBLIC GOTO Win10

START "" "%P1%" %1

GOTO END

:Win10

START "%P2%" %1

GOTO END

:Win98

START "%P1%" %1

GOTO END

REM ------------------------------------------------

:END
