I agree with this. I think it would be helpful in a number of scenarios. I'm not sure how useful the file attributes and size would be, but I see no harm in adding them. For completeness I think we should also add the %n and %e parameters.

The current implementation was a result of your posting here:
https://ztw3.com/forum/forum_entry.php?id=112687
and Dan LeGate's posting here:
https://ztw3.com/forum/forum_entry.php?id=116713

The Help file might then read something like this:

 3.3.1.17  Colons Insert Batch Parameters
The colon pair may enclose supported batch parameters which are to be
inserted in that position of that section of the name.  The following Batch
Parameters are supported for the current window and the opposite side of an
F8 split screen. (See section 3.4.1 'Batch Parameters').
        %2 and %j2 - Drive letter
        %4 and %j4 - File name
        %5 and %j5 - File extension
%6 and %j6 - Directory name and extension
        %8 and %j8 - Short file name
        %a and %ja - File attributes
        %e and %je - Directory extension
        %n and %jn - Directory name
        %s and %js - File size
        %v and %jv - Volume name
