True. It's always been a bit of a mystery to me why. I don't know if it's because I don't understand how repositories work, but I've always suspected they're just badly set up. With many projects it's difficult to find out what the project actually is - you just have to know.

But the proposal here isn't really a software creation project. Just a source of information about software developed by someone else.

This isn't likely at the moment, but I think it would work ok for that. Github issues can do anything this forum's postings do, probably more. Kim's binaries for the updates are just links to his own website.
