I am a user who tries to understand how things work but finds it difficult to remember 'fundamental' things. Today I am trying to understand how to interpret the information that CTRL-Insert (various arguements) returns.
I recently did a Win10 upgrade and found a new directory in an unexpected place.
CTRL-Insert/ F returns:
F:Windows10Upgrade17134.112.180619-1212.rs4_release_svc_refresh_CLIENTCONSUMER_RET_x64FRE_en-us.esd
and I put transcribed from the ZTreeWin display into NotePad the size, 1,239,060K
Do I interpret this correctly as 1,239,060,000 KB?
CTRL-Insert/ I returns:
17134.112.180619-1212.rs4_release_svc_refresh_CLIENTCONSUMER_RET_x64FRE_en-us.esd 1268797,440 .a.. 1-25-19 17:52:54
The number 1268797,440 is clearly a size entry, but I do not see how it relates to 1,239,060K.
Thanks,
John
