In Response to: [Help!] Running ZTreeWin From a USB Thumb Drive (Oliver Pretzel)

Oliver, thank you for the prompt reply.

My apologies for the 'blank' first try at a reply. I post infrequently enough that forget that here I need to use SHIFT-ENTER the first time I want to make space to type or I will submit the reply before I've written anything.

Is it safe to conclude that the x64 version (which I have installed and registered) will run from a USB drive as well if I copy the listed files to the thumb drive?

You say: "The Temp/Tmp environment variable on the host machine should be defined and point to a writable directory."

At what point does the underlined procedure happen? If the environment is Windows 10 (still unfamiliar territory to me, but it is time to begin adapting) do I find the equivalent of Windows Explorer and create a path (folder) for the temp files whose path I define for ZTreeWin when it runs from the thumb drive?

Thanks again,
