Martijn is perfectly right. You can put the 64bit version on a stick in just the same way. The only drawback is that it won't run if you stick it in a computer running an (old) 32bit windows system.

Again Martijn is right. Most if not all Windows systems define this variable on installation,
and there is no point in setting it to a read only directory. I only included that statement for completeness sake.
