Right. The same logic that displays the "correct" time for opposite DSTs would need to be duplicated when a timestamp is entered, either by typing-in or pasting.

Right, again. User expectation would be that no adjustments are made to whatever was entered, whether via copy/pasting or typing it in by hand.
