Thanks for testing this Hartmut. It's good to know I'm not the only one seeing this, and it's not something unusual about my Windows 10 installations.

As mentioned, I've had it happen with the sides in different directories, but it may take more actions before it happens. It can also happen if both sides are in Directory Mode.

It does appear that a higher number of files and directories makes the crash happen sooner, if not immediately.

The fact that repeating the same sequence has inconsistent and somewhat random results is what makes me think it may be related to some kind of timing issue.
