Android Studio Device File Explorer   [OT]

In Response to: [OT] Can anyone recommend an Android file manager vaguely like ZTree? (Andrew Watson)

One way of exploring the contents of an Android phone (or emulator) is to use the Device File Explorer that comes with Android Studio. I believe it allows access to the entire Android file hierarchy.

I was able to dig deep and display many, .xml, .rc, .conf, and similar system files.

Permission denied pops up regularly, but it is possible to perform actions like selecting a folder and saving the whole tree to the PC! I also managed to (New) create folders/files on the phone and copy files over to it.
