I'd be interested to hear some of your reasons, Michael.

While I feel the current limit ought to be plenty, and if I exceeded it would just do something to get under 260, if Windows supports it then Ztree probably ought to as well. It's pretty easy to exceed the limit just by copying a whole branch under another one.

I'd be interested to know how common it is for Windows systems to have this enabled. Can it happen on servers? If so, then one has to deal with users who might do things the rest of us wouldn't.
