Note that in normal View mode (not Autoview), Alt+I does not
work; it's ignored, even if it is active globally. So you may be
viewing a file, not knowing much about its size or date.
This is more reason to include a single info line on the border, for
a more complete picture.
One may need this feature when using Autoview and screen-capturing
the contents of files displayed. The full path is shown on the
very top, but the other info about the file is unknown.
Consider the case of creating a programming tutorial, where code
samples from files being captured had a date, along with the name,
associated with them and visible on the resulting graphics.
