Hopefully, administrators may already be downloading the excellent Windows
Terminal (WT), open source, still in beta, with which ZTree seems to work OK.
ZTree should be tested with it as soon as possible, and be ready (if) WT
becomes mainstream. It could use some of the WT features that do not
exist in CMD.EXE.

It is distributed via Microsoft Store, but is also on github.
Those who download it MSS, will probably be offered ZTree in
the "see also" text, may try it.
One could advertise WT+ZTW as the ideal power admin tool!
Admins don't shy away from "console apps", on the contrary.
Instead of using various file managers from various sources,
why not take the one (most likely the best) from the store?
