[Help!] help with tfc   [Help!]

Thanks to those assisting with getting the 'latest' version of tfc.
I have been messing with it but seemingly getting nowhere.

I'm trying to compare two files in a subfolder and 'if' the two files are different then produce another file of 0 bytes in that same subfolder.
If the two files are identical then do not produce the third file.

I can do the tfc compare part but it's testing the result of errorlevel so that if = 1 produce 0 byte file else just exit.

Can anyone assist - I'm going round the twist here.

tfc produces an output message unless I redirect output to nul but how do I test the errorlevel & output a 0 byte file if errorlevel = 1.

I need this to be in one line - since I don't want to generate a batch file to do it.

thanks in advance.
