Since Kim has for a long time been requesting that all bug reports be posted as a response to the most recent version posting, it no longer makes sense to have the ability to start a new [Bug] or [BugList] thread.
I therefore suggest that these two categories be removed from the "Post a New Message" category list.
Users will still be able, and encouraged, to use keywords such as [Bug] or [Bugs] in the "Subject" response to the latest posted version.
To help instruct users posting bug reports, perhaps a line could be added on the "Post a New Message" page under that heading to read something like:
To post a bug report, please post it as a response to the latest posted version. See instructions here.
That would link to a page with more complete instructions.
Those instructions might read something like the following:
Kim has requested that all bug reports be posted as a response to the most recently posted version.
When posting a bug in response to that posting, please change the subject to start with a keyword such as [Bug], [Bugs] or [Bug?], followed by a short subject description.
If the most recent version posting has rolled off the first forum page you can use the "Page 1 of" box, or the arrow to its right, to display the previous pages. You can also use the "all categories" box to filter the threads by that category; but when using this method you should check to be sure which category (Zeta, Beta or Release) is the most recent.
