At least for only two directories, a tool like "Beyond Compare" (BC) may be helpful.
BC can compare directories, and they will be marked if they have different contents.
You can switch into the directories, and the diffent files are shown.
Filters also allow to only show the non-different files.
BC can even compare the picture files and show diffences in the pictures (don't know how good/powerful this feature really ist)
