Hi all,
I got this screwed up Windows Terminal behavior on the update from W11 21H2 to 22H2. But now I tested it on a fresh 22H2 Install, and it seems that Ztree screen painting is OK on any of settings.
So fixing via
Settings (WIN-I)
--> Privacy & security
-------> For developers
------------> Terminal
-----------------Windows Console Host
works every time. But starting of CMD.EXE and BAT files have old-time behavior.
New Terminal is not bad, but it breaks full-screen console apps.
I found that switching via menu changes two keys. Here is BAT script to change it to old console setup via CLI:
reg add "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console\%%%%Startup" /v "DelegationConsole" /d "{B23D10C0-E52E-411E-9D5B-C09FDF709C7D}" /f
reg add "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Console\%%%%Startup" /v "DelegationTerminal" /d "{B23D10C0-E52E-411E-9D5B-C09FDF709C7D}" /f
(doubled %% for BAT escaping)
GUIDs for other selections you can find via regedit. So on some system problem exist on some no.
After fresh W11 install subkey
Console\%%Startup
did not exist. Maybe this was the reason why my Ztree instance works independently.
