I have seen the same symptoms, although not on all computers and not all the time. I have not reported it since I'm never sure what I was doing that caused the problem.

The left and right spinning activity indicators often get stuck "on" even when a long file copy has finished. I'm inclined to think I was moving the window around on my screen while the copy was in progress. Perhaps that's related to Kim's recent work on resizing windows, but that's just a guess.
