[Q] ztree scrolling FPS (frames per sec) is low and choppy [Q]

could someone explain as to why ztree scrolling in win10 is laggy or slow or appears and disappears for 0.3sec constantly. The problem is probably not from Ztree, but Win10 as a whole also seems to do that to all "text mode" console programs in dosbox-x.

is there some windows hidden parameters to fix it?

ztree scrolling in XP is very smooth.
