You are correct, and I stand corrected. Although I never did so, I see that XTree did mention in it's guide that XTG_CFG.EXE could be run from the DOS prompt. And while it's not mentioned anywhere in ZTree docs, apparently ZTW_CFG.EXE will run just fine standalone.
I confirm also that the current ZTW_CFG.EXE will not run in 32-bit XP. Alt-F10 fails, and when run from the command prompt it gets the message: "ZTW_CFG.EXE is not a valid Win32 application." This started with v2.4.208. I suspect that the current ZTW_CFG.EXE is 64-bit only, but I have no way of confirming it, as I have no access to a 32-bit Windows later than XP.
In any case, since ZTree is supported as both 32 and 64 bit, this is a bug in 32-bit Windows XP, if not in all 32-bit Windows versions.
