I agree wholeheartedly -- I think I was the one who got the JFC key added, and I should have thought of this one then (and you would have had it for a long time -- my guess is that it is simple to implement...).

You did leave out one very useful addition, namely, rename the *target* file rather than the file being copied (I'm updating a directory at work with files I worked on at home, copying from (say) A: to D:\XXX, and I want to rename a target file to xyz.old before xyz.c is copied over it...).

So, Kim, what about this one??
