I believe this well made point was not noted duly enough.

If (when) ZTree adds a Unicode [V]iew option, ASCII would become its natural antonym. You could conceivably have a future UNICODE-Alphanumeric mode, but it would be ludicrous to label it UNICODE-ASCII.
