Firstly, the above action of view is dependant on the setting of CO5d. The above behaviour for view only works on 3 of the 6 options for this CO item, i.e view, view&altview, view and auto view.

I suppose the best way to handle ths is to describe the behviour for the factory default setting.

This then raises the issue of factory defaults.

Should not there be a command to reset the factory defaults? This raises the question of where to place it. Perhaps the page/up/down could be moved into the main option list window : the bottom left for PgUp(prev page) and bottom right for PgDn(next page). then in the space made available on the command line pace something like F5 set default.

FWIW I think the following is probably a better description of the function

Alpha, Dump - Toggle between the ALPHA and DUMP views. If a file is viewed as an archive list outtput, hit DUMP twice to display it in raw alpha view.
