Yes.

Therefore I asked. ;-)
Still I think that Ztree could be extended easily to achieve the same (regarding added/modified files). If Ztree could be told to use the stored data instead of checking the disk then everything would already be there.

Yes, that's quite near to what I looked for. There are some small quirks (it always crashed when I specified my Novell home dir for storing the diff data), but after circumventing them it worked. The only drawback for me is that it generates a single monolithic exe file but I need a kind of cmd or script file because we have our own corporate script tool which should be used and I may need to remove or change some parts of the update script.
