> I have a share on a Linux box that is shared via Samba - it is an EXT2 I suspect that it is connected with the Samba emulating the NT Server (some would contend that it does a more accurate and reliable interpretation and emulation of the Windows Server than Windows does itself). I also have a recollection that it has to "look like" it is Windows for it to work.
