Both of my backups, entire and incremental, are very large zips and are password protected using Winzip 9.0 with command line.

While Alt-F5 appears to open the files I just tried to view (while in Ztree) a few text files just to try things out. No -- "Error: Bad decryption password?"

I double-checked that I didn't have my caps lock key down. I tried this with both files and got the same error. That's when my heart went downwards into my stomach.

Finally, I opened Winzip and opened one of the files here. Then successfully, using Winzip and with the original password, was able to view a text file.
