Unfortunately Shift-Ctrl-S is passed to ZAAP, and e.g. rpVT uses it to perform a text search (Rsear).
I remember that in the past we agreed to one exception to the ZAAP Shift-Control rule ( = Shift-Ctrl-TAB). Each additional exception should be thought of carefully and discussed.

On the other hand, e.g. rpVT is able to perform Rsear directly, and I nearly don't use rpVT anymore, and prefer ZTree's F7 Autoview,
so I'd have no objection to reserve Shift-Ctrl-S to ZTree.

John,
it would perhaps be wise to open a separate POLL or DISCUSS thread for it.
